Half to full day, low stair drama

Family: beaches and easier lookouts

Best for: Mixed ages who should not default to Grade 5

Fort Tomaree if legs allow, Fingal flags, Iris Moore picnic, skip the summit without shame. Meltdown-free cars beat distance badges.

Tomaree Head Summit is not a default walk for under-8s. Official Grade 5 is very steep with many steps.

Patrolled swimming: Fingal in front of SLSC, southern One Mile, Birubi — seasonal, between the flags only.

Skip shame. A flagged swim and an ice cream is a complete Tomaree day. Not walked. Verify patrol and alerts.

Track status, weather and closures change — verify on NSW National Parks before you leave, then use the timeline below as a planning skeleton only.
